8 Must-Try Condiments For All You Charlotte Sauce Fanatics

If you love condiments -sometimes more than food itself- first of all, let's be friends, and second, this list is all for you. As a condiment lover myself, I've compiled several different restaurants that have a stand out sauce on their menu that's one hundred percent worth trying. Drag your friends along, so you can order multiple dunkable things on the menu, and go get saucy!

8.2.0 PIZZERIA & BAR: S'mores Dip, White Bama BBQ Sauce

Both of these sauces speak true to their name. The s'mores dip pairs perfectly with the saltiness of the fries, and it's just like eating a s'more with marshmallow fluff, chocolate, and a graham cracker crumble topping. Aka, a dream come true. The white bama bbq sauce is creamy, but with a bit of a twang. It's similar to a vinegar aioli, so if that's your thing give it a try.

What To Dunk: Pommes Frites

Bad Daddy's sauce is thick, delicious, and can be spread on pretty much anything. This sauce literally compliments most items served on their menu- salads, wings, burgers, tots, you name it. This sauce reminds me of Chick-Fil-A sauce, but with a tad bit of a spice.

What To Dunk: BD's All-American Burger, Nick's Patty Melt, Smokehouse Burger, Chicken Wings, Tater Tots, Onion Rings, French Fries,

Bang Sauce is, by far, one of my favorite local Charlotte sauces. It's creamy, but also tangy, and is one of those sauces you wish you could bottle up and take home with you so you can put it on absolutely everything. It tastes like Big Mac sauce, but better! Ask for a side of it and get to dippin' and dunkin'.

What To Dunk: Bang Bang Burger -or put it on any burger-, Chicken Club, Black Bean Burger, French Fries, Sweet Potato Fries, Onion Rings

South End: 235 W Tremont Ave suite 101, Charlotte, NC 28203

This homemade ranch is everything a ranch lover could dream of. You can taste the creaminess and the coolness of a classic ranch, but with a pinch of dill in every bite. The best part is, every time I visit Growlers Pourhouse the sauce always consistently tastes the exact same. And in the sauce world, that's something we can only dream of.

What To Dunk: 3 Pepper Hot Sauce Chicken Wings, Hand Cut French Fries, Corn Off The Cob Salad

HABERDISH: BBQ Sauce, Honey Mustard, White BBQ Sauce

I've been waiting to announce this to Charlotte, so here's the perfect opportunity. Haberdish takes the cake in dipping sauces for chicken tenders. Their BBQ sauce tastes like Chick-Fil-A polynesian sauce - but obviously better, because what's better than Haberdish, anyways? The honey mustard is not super heavy, so you can dunk away with less guilt. And the white BBQ sauce and ranch are just as amazing as you can imagine. If you haven't dined here, go for more than just their sauces!

What To Dunk: Chicken Tenders, Fried Chicken, Hushpuppies, Tater Tots

INK N IVY: White BBQ Sauce

This is another one of those sauces you wish you could bottle up and take home with you. I find myself putting it all over everything every time I'm at Ink N Ivy. It tastes like a traditional white bbq sauce, but with more of a tang.

What To Dunk: White BBQ Fried Chicken Sandwich, Bacon-Jalapeno Cheeseburger, Dry-Rubbed Chicken Wings, French Fries

A sauce you wouldn't expect to typically find at a Mexican restaurant, but here you go. The salsa rosado is a creamy, semi-sweet sauce. Since it packs no heat, it's perfect to cool down anything that might be a little too spicy for you, so extra dunks are welcome!

What To Dunk: Arepa, Carne Asada Fries, Tacos, El Dominicano Burrito, Three Amigos Burrito

WHAT THE FRIES: Homemade Yum Yum Sauce

I know everyone that loves yum yum sauce -aka Japanese steakhouse shrimp sauce-, has a hard time finding a bottle in the grocery store that tastes like the real thing. Well have no fear, because What The Fries has saved the yum yum sauce day, and they now sell their's by the bottle. It's already served on their hibachi fries, but don't be afraid to ask to add it to other daily menu specials.

THE WORKMAN'S FRIEND: Malt Vinegar Aioli

Like any aioli, this is a very mayonaise based sauce, but that's what makes it that much more delicious. It's perfect to spread on sandwiches, or dip french fries in. It's so popular, they serve it alongside almost every dish.

What To Dunk: Hand Cut Chips, Open Faced Roasted Turkey Sandwich, The Working Man's Burger, Fish & Chips
